Canon Speedlite 430EX II Flash
Description
Bringing a new level of versatility and capability to flash photography, the Speedlite 430EX II features a powerful flash (guide number of 141 ft./43m at ISO 100) with a fast recycling time in a compact, durable body. A one-touch quick-lock mechanism makes it easy to attach or detach the 430EX II from the camera and a metal foot has been added for strength and durability. Reviews
This is a great flash for use with Canon SLR's. The quality of my pictures from my Digital SLR is much better than using the built in flash. AF assist makes focusing quicker. Recharge rate for the flash is very quick. Just wish I bought it sooner.
I shot engagement pictures 2 days after receiving this flash with no experience using any flash but the one on the camera. I was amazed at the increased quality of my photos. I am sold out to this product.
This is a nice flash. It is a back up, and key flash for my 580EXii flash and does what it is supposed to do.
Reflecting off the ceiling works best! Will over expose a liitle if your too close to object.
Didn't know how fast I'd 'flash' thru a set of batteries. I was shooting casuals during a wedding rehearsal & dinner... I got about 35 shots per set of 4 batteries. I cannot fault the Canon 430EX II Flash, it was my lack of experience with external battery packs, which I should have gotten. Flash is really good. I'll love having it. I'll just need to find a more efficient way to power my rig.
